DR. PAMELA L. HOLENS Member at Large NEW 2015
Dr. Holens is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology within the College of Medicine at the University of Manitoba. She has been a GFT since 2010. Her work is based at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic at Deer Lodge Centre where she provides assessment and treatment for current and veteran members of the RCMP and Canadian Armed Forces. She completed her graduate training (Master’s and PhD degrees in Clinical Psychology) at the University of Manitoba, and her pre-doctoral residency with the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region. Her clinical and research interests include Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, chronic pain, dialectical behavior therapy for military and RCMP populations, online treatments, and the impact of disability on leisure activities. She provides direct clinical supervision to Clinical Health Psychology residents as well as occasional lectures and tutorials for medical students on mental-health related issues.
