DR. ALAN JACKSON Past President
Dr. Jackson is Professor and Head of the Section of Neurology and is based at Health Sciences Centre. He relocated from Queen’s University in 2007. He has served on the executive committees of the Queen’s University Faculty Association and the Clinical Teachers’ Association of Queen’s University. He has been the Chair of the Clinical Faculty Committee of the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) since 2005, and he previously served on the CAUT Task Force on Academic Freedom for Faculty at University-Affiliated Health Care Institutions. Dr. Jackson has been active in teaching and research; he has been the editor of five books and has published over 300 papers, book chapters, and abstracts. He serves on the Board of Directors of Rabies in the Americas, Inc., and has served on the Board of Directors of the International Society for Neurovirology since 2000. He was re-elected in 2013 for a second 2-year term as President of CTAM. Back
